Admin Assistant
We are seeking to recruit an Admin Assistant on a permanent basis. You will be working within an Independent Financial Advisory business which provides advice with regards to financial planning and wealth management.
Initially, the position will be on a part-time basis (21 hours a week), but with the potential to increase this in the future. We offer flexibility in terms of working hours during the day/week.
You will be working directly with the Financial Advisers within the company, helping them with cases and clients, as you would expect you will be dealing with highly confidential information.
The position has the potential for growth within the role, previous experience within financial services would be an advantage but is not essential. You will report directly to the managing director.
Some of your main duties will be:

  • Serving as the main point of contact & scheduling meetings and travel
  • Contacting other firms in relation to ongoing cases on behalf of the advisers

  • Answering calls and other receptionist duties
  • Maintaining office supplies

  • Maintaining Client Reports and Valuations
  • Preparing weekly MI returns and commission reports

You should act with professionalism when dealing with clients and other professionals and be able to exhibit the following:

  • Thorough attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a group and independently
  • Strong organisational skills & confidence in decision making

  • Positive attitude for greeting clients
  • Familiarity with scheduling and organisational software

The position is competitively salaried, with paid annual leave and company pension provided.
